Cold Call
The whole conversation: gatekeeper, opening, open question, objection and appointment.
The Training Room · built in VE-AD
A difficult customer. An unexpected objection. A price you want to stand by. VE-AD plays the other person — practise your answer, experience their reaction and learn what you can improve next time.
10 disciplines 5 training areas Difficulty and time set separately
01 · Enter the situation
Your AI trainer switches between role-play and feedback. During the conversation, it knows its role, industry and training objective. It is designed to respond realistically: show scepticism, raise objections and, at high difficulty, interrupt or end the conversation.
In Cold Call, you practise a complete conversation. In Objection Drill, the next objection comes immediately. The AI stays in character until you end the training — evaluation comes afterwards.
This is a scripted, fictional sample round. Open-ended AI role-play takes place in the VE-AD app's Training Room.

Your AI trainer
“Let's practise the objection.
I'll play your customer.”
“We already have a website. Not interested.”
“I understand. Can your customers easily find how to book an appointment there?”
Good: You acknowledged the objection and asked a specific question.
Next exercise: Build on the answer and agree on a next step.
The other person has raised their objection.
02 · Set the challenge
Two independent settings change the exercise. A friendly counterpart can be challenging under time pressure; you can give yourself more time for a difficult conversation.
Available difficulty levels depend on the discipline.
If time runs out without an answer, the other person hears silence. They may ask again, grow impatient or hang up. The pause becomes part of the situation.
03 · Focus your practice
From your opening line to your own decision discipline. Each exercise has its own objective and flow.

The whole conversation: gatekeeper, opening, open question, objection and appointment.
Phone
Ten rounds for your first two sentences. A fictional business, your opening, brief feedback — then the next round.
Phone
Ten objections without warning. You answer immediately; the AI gives brief feedback and plays the next one.
In person
The demo is on the table. A sceptical customer wants to know what the solution will do for them.
In person
A competing quote, a tight budget, pressure on price. Stand by your price and address the objection.
In person
Discuss a suitable extension with an existing customer.
Written
Four situations: cold email, after a call, follow-up and after a quote. Write your own message and have it reviewed.
In person
Explain your venture to an investor and answer critical questions.
Marketing
Test and refine ideas, target audiences and messaging with a counterpart.
Money
Across eight fictional market rounds, stick to your own rules for position size, target and stop. This practises following rules; it provides no buy recommendations or price forecasts.
04 · Learn from the round
After training, VE-AD identifies what worked, the main mistake and a specific next exercise. The assessment is saved with the round.
For sales practice, a visible grading scale makes the standard clear: securing an appointment counts differently from a polite refusal. The grade is AI feedback on the exercise.
The archive and statistics let you revisit rounds, assessments and error types. Progress is tracked for each discipline.
